pump seal kit question
Is it possible to make your own PPK? Use epoxy; like (propoxy 20) and just fill in the voids? Or this a bad idea and should use a kit like Rivas pump seal kit. Just trying to save some$$$$

I've seen people use 3M 4200 or 5200 to fill the voids. Use the Fast Cure

i used, foam spray to fill voids let it set for 8 hours, then used "THE RIGHT STUFF" as gasket. so about $19.00, not sure how the foam will hold, but we'll find out after i take my 2001 xl800 out a few times.

Used "Great Stuff"
I used great stuff and then sanded flush and filled a the small voids again and sanded flush again and then covered it all with silicone base level it with fingers and glove. Worked out great!
Cost! Maybe $10.00
