    Conversion rumors and myths

Some people seem to believe that after doing the conversion the ski will sit lower in the water and nosedive upon takeoff. In fact I found the opposite today.

We had an 06 stock GPR and my conversion today. The Conversion actually sat higher in the water and didn't sub the nose as much with full tanks of gas.

Also after being in the water for 6 hours today with no bidge pump, there was less then a few ounces of water in the hull.

Both skis were full of gas when we left the ramp and both were around 1/4 when we got back.

Not where you rode. That area require nothing less then a 4 wheeler right now. We were 40 miles north of the fun ride.

I was thinking about that today when we were riding today in Miami. I don't think I need to be too worried about having the additional weight of the SHO engine in my conversion.

I saw a bunch of people riding 2 up on GPRs and thinking if they can do that without the back deck sitting in the water -- the conversion with one person should be about the same thing.
