    Ecu or Sc?

What is the improvement if i put an ecu or if i put a new sc? What is the benefits of each?

Is it better to put an ecu or a bigger sc?

    Thanks

depending on the size of SC, it is pretty much a drop in or bolt on and go. with a hig reving ECU you have to make an additional investment in valves and springs.

That being said, once you get over 10 lbs of boost you need bigger injectors and a rrfpr. still, i think the ECU is a more expensive upgrade and you probably get more immediate bang for your buck out of the SC. IMO

I have studied this exact senerio on my T-X. lets compare the 8,380 rpm reflash to the riva X drop in wheel. lets figure we have 10 psi boost on stock setup. so we can reflash ecu and turn 8,380 with approx 12 psi boost, or we can just drop in riva x wheel and housing and have approx 12 psi boost at 8,080. II can not say from actual experience with the above mods, but if was me I like the reflash choice better!

I prefer drop-in wheel coz im concern about blow head gasket with high rev limiter ECU.

What is the safest rev limiter if u wanna avoid blow the head gasket???

I can't tell you from experience, but the word is you can run 8,380 rpm on stock x internals. The reason I would go reflash is I hate to tune with the stock x ecu. It is a very safe ecu, but I don't like the limiter where its set. The ski can turn 8,200 easy, so why not let it..

a headgasket will never blow from RPM, i run many boats at 9000+ with much higher compression, and i have had never headgasket issues,( if you change them after 10 h)

only high compression with high boost ( not possible with a drop in weel) can give you headgasket issues
