    clogged injectors ?

Hi all, I was going to go premix after i have rebuilt my 2003 gp1300r, i have read mixed reports, some say all will be fine andr others say you can't go premix with fuel injection as it will clog the injectors.....!so whats right and whats wrong.....?

    Cheers Andy

Alot of people are running pre-mix no problems. Just gotta make sure the mixture is correct. I'm switching over to pre-mix real soon.

My gpr has been premix now for over 100 hours with no issues... You do however have to use injector safe premix oil. Amsoil, klotz, and lots of other companies make injector safe oil.... I wont say which one is best because it will turn your thread into a 2,000 post debate

I run pre-mix in my GPR and have no issues. I like the piece of mind of not having a problem with the oil injection system.

Pre-mix works great. I've got 300 hours on mine since I dumped the oil injection. I send my injectors out to get flow tested and cleaned recently (for the 1st time) and they were in great shape. Didn't even need to be done. I do use Yamaha ring free
