    WTB Dual 44SBN set

I am not 100% sure I will run duals, but I think I "need" too. My single SBN44 was jetted with some huge jets and now that I redid everything I am afraid it won't be enough.

I guess if the right set comes along, well that will make up my mind. So here is what I am looking for.

    Dual SBN44's
Would like fuel pumps on each
    Carb coupler
    Fit R&D manifold for a 61X
Novi's would be nice, but "stock" type SBN 44's will be just fine.
Not looking for a set I have to rebuild, I rebuild and tune enough Holley's at work during the week.
NO CORROSION. Must be respectable looking besides in working condition.

I don't need any f/a or adapters. I have my velocity stacks and K&N's for them.

Show me what you have and what you would like for them. I will think about them all and then make up my mind.

So who wants to make up my mind for me?

A single Riva Powerbomb 48 worked well for me on both a 61x 701 and a 62T 760 and could probably be had for less than 2 44's and a manifold.

I was thinking about doing a single 48. The thing is, then the manifold I have and the velocity stack are useless. I have a brand new R&D mani and brand new velocity stacks ready to do. Mani is "lightly" ported also.

By what I have been seeing as far as prices go, I should be able to get two 44's for less than a Powerbomb or Novi 48 in go-to-go shape.

I guess I will ask if anyone has any 48's and manifold for a 61X also? Single 48 that is.

    Thanks

This 61X has a few things done to it. If I opened up my carb that I ran to break it in (single 44) and told you what size main is in there, you would not believe me. It is that BIG. And yes, tuning carbs is something I do just about every day..but on a larger scale.

    61X case and cyl
    Crank- done
Ported (now) as a "Super Stock" package
Wiseco pistons, heat coating on domes, "wear" coating on skirts. .5mm over
    Riva light weight flywheel
    MSD box
    Boyeson CF reeds
    SBN44 no choke, jetted
K&N cone with polished and matched to carb velocity stack
    Stock intake- gasket matched
    Factory Mod Pipe
    Factory Waterbox
Greater Yamaha Girdled head (195psi on pump)
    Dual cooling
    Dual bypass
Hull has JD long plate and intake
And I am sure other things I am forgetting

Key point was the "PORTED" part....stock I never gained enough or any to make it worth my while. That's why my "RED" blaster only had a single carb. The 62T is a different story.

The stock manifold is easily bored to match a 48mm carb.
