I like it. Looks good and the lid is reasonably priced. Otto, we need speed's on that set-up. Should be fast.

i hope to be out sat depending on weather.
it was 69.8 at half throttle, any more than half it would
    just hit the limiter.
I have know had speedfreaks do the prop and put an R&D grate.

What did he pitch it to, if you don't mind me asking? I'm curious what pitch that level of mods requires.

Cool. I think I need a SF prop in my boat.

Looks great! I use that same box/lid on my '03 GTX SC and really like it. The only problem that I have is that I can't leave the GPS out in the sun for many hours as the sun/heat seem to make the color go away for a while - and there's always the concern about theft. I run nicad cells and carry a few as spares. I get anywhere from 15-20 hours per charge, so I don't have to recharge very often... Ron

Looks awesome. I've been seriously considering getting one of them and I think you just sold me on it.

Nice Otto,I've got the same set up and love it. A little advise, and just IMO: I put a clear/transparent protector over my screen. You can get them at Walmart in the camera section. They are made to put on the lcd screens of cameras to protect them from scratches. Just cut it to size. I also put a bright/neon yellow sticker on mine, to give it a high visibility profile. Yes, they float, but Garmin made them the same color as lake water.

Does anyone know if other GPS models will fit? The Garmin is a bit outdated IMO.
