Is this a good deal?
Or is this to good to be true???
2006 seadoo RXP, it has very low hours on it. I use to have one and had this engine for extra one. It does not come with the super chager or intake. Block and head are complete and in great shape gauranteed to have no problems. I'm looking $1000 O.B.O must go no reasonable offer refused.

Id want to at least see it in person, or have him pull the head. It hasnt even been sealed up. sounds a little fishy to me...

We went thru this with another member. With a purchase this expensive, find a member that's close enough to go look at it for you before buying and keep half the money until after it's delivered. Just my .02.

If the head is good then its worth every penny. You are 15 minutes from looking @ the other side of the head. Pull it off and see if its in good shape.
Obviously you would need to go through EVERYTHING else anyway.

Its only a 2 hr drive from me so i guess it would be worth the drive to check it out. what size are the head bolts? If I go see it ill bring my tools

I would like to know why the engine is apart - the PTO cover/oil pump, flywheel, cam chain, starter. He might have lost the ceramic SC washers in another engine, bought this one and took off all the parts he needed. I'd get someone to go with you who's had an engine or two apart... Ron

Im a mechanic, But i have never worked on a 4-tec but im sure there not that diffrent. i just dont really know how much a good motor is worth or how to tell if its an 06 or not. It also $1000 canadian so about $800 us for everything though, If it looks ok ill offer him $800 canadian. If i pull the head off is there a place on the crank to put a wrench on and turn it over to make sure it isnt seized or would it be to hard to do it with it sitting on the floor?

Well plan is to go look at it tommorow. Guy told me he will let me pull the head. Is there anything that the experts can suggest for me to look out for?
