    Is my O2 going bad?

While out riding today my LC1 wideband started reading strange. It seemed to be reading fine then it read 49.7 and just stayed there. So I unplugged its power source and reconnected it. It read properly again for about 10 mins then did the same thing. So I reset it again then it was ok for about 10 mins befor doing it again. Any ideas? Oh and by the way I hit 80.5 MPH on my stock ECU setup today in less than perfect conditions!!!! Im flying high now!!! Also befor going out today I took my wedge off as it seemed to cause porposing with my Jims ride plate. Whats everybody else doing? Running a wedge w/ the ride plate mods or leaving it off? My personal opinion is to ditch the wedge w/ the ride plate mod as mine settled down a lot better today w/ out the wedge.

Good job man. Your gaining on me.
As far as the wedge goes you have to go with what works for you. Everyones ski is different.

To get that speed mods are: ET SC, 12.5/23 prop 81mm ring, ride plate, riva rear air, 50lbs. injectors, rrfpr plus lots of other little things. Having prop pitched for 83mm ring by Speedfreeks. According to Eric it will bring another .5-1 mph.

So I got another Bosch O2 at autozone today went out and it lasted an hour. Good thing is at autozone they cost $50, not $80 and it has a warrenty!! So my question is there anyway to get these things to last longer in a ski? I am very carefull inhandling them. I install in exhaust system right when im at the boat ramp and take them out as soon as I pull it out of the water. The only time its in the j-pipe is when the engine is running so water or water vapor should not get to it as the exaust should be pushing all that out constantly leaving the O2 surronded by exhaust gases only right? Wrong I guessAnybody have any suggestions?

Watch out for their warranty (it may also be AdvanceAutoParts though) as they will only replace a part under warranty once even though the warranty time limit hasn't expired... Ron
