    Riva Pump Extention Info

    For those that arent getting good results from this mod...
    If your ski isnt getting good results, try adding the 2degree wedge....
    I gained 1.7 mph doing back to back tests..... Give it a try, Ive heard it doesnt work but, it worked for me...

    I have a 2 degree wedge on my RXT with the pump extention, haven't tried it out yet! Thanks for the information!

    Thats great news Jessie. Its good to hear your boat is finaly coming around. I had a feeling that wedge was gonna help you out. It may not work for everyone though. It all depends on the angle of your pump shoe. Yours must have been installed with a slight downward angle and adding the extention magnified it. That would explain why you have lost speed ever since adding it.

    Great to hear this ive installed my extension and pulled my wedge thinking it would hurt me. I'll install and see if it helps me like it helped you i sure hope so saves me from having to sell it.

    suposedly, it makes your ski really loose WOT... Before I added the wedge, my ski was very deep in the water at WOT. Now, the ski feels great.
    Im running a closed loop Jims plate with this....
    Try it. Its eazy to install and you could see some great speeds....

    Glad it worked out for ya Jesse..When I ran the wedge with my extention my ski porpoused bad at high speeds..Couldnt get her to WOT cause of that...

    Good results Jessie but everyone must remember your results are not typical. 99% of people gain speed with the pump extension kit and it's recommended not to use the wedge.

    Maybe your ski picked up speed with the wedge due to the ride plate your using or some other variable such as the pump shoe angle as noted above.

    i think my rideplate has alot to do with it... my pumpshoe cant be the reason...
    it was personally installed by Bruce @ Riva...
    either way, if your not getting good results, its worth a shot..... it helped me for sure....
