SC removal in progress pics + some quick questions

Hey all. Thanks again for all the great advice so far. I think i've searched and read about 30 hours of info so far on the forum.

I just pulled both my superchargers which is actually unbelieveably easy on these things (very grateful for that)... I ended up ordering the full rebuild kit after talking to jerry yesterday. Cost me $308 for each ski and $75 for the install... Shipping from the Ill Mil cost like $20 with $600 of insurance via UPS. I'm pumped to get the 08 clutch kit in there.

    So heres my plan -

    1. Install my new LED trailer lights (woot woot!)
    2. Install the sc's
    3. Run the engine for like 5 min
    4. Change the plugs and change the oil.
    5. Wax them both up with some good UV resistant wax

    Questions!
Should I change the oil before installing the new SC's?? Is this order ok?

Suggestions on other items to check out before the season starts? Wear ring? check compression?

Also the one ski has a stage 1 kit. I'm going to go with IXU27 denso's on that one, and IXU24 denso's on the stock ski. I'm pretty sure I have the right plugs picked out there.

As far as oil, I've read quite a bit and think the amsoil oil has all others beat. Question though is should I go with the 4 stroke 10w40 synthetic motorcycle oil or their 4 stroke synthetic 10w40 marine oil? They are both wet clutch friendly with no additives, and mr. amsoil here on the forum recommends going with either one, I'm leaning toward the motorcycle oil but any suggestions? It seems the motorcycle oil passed the rust test with no rust whatsoever...

    Thanks again all!

The pics are of the ski's torn apart in my garage.

haven't really ran the ski for more than one minute since i bought them... haven't hooked up the hose at all.

I'm not sure what wax i am going to use, i'll do some research i was actually hoping someone would recommend a good one. I won't wax the stickers.

Can i run the ski on the hose for about 3 min?

You are going to make a big oily mess running the engines without the SCs in place. Also, you aren't going to see any difference with the Denso plugs as compared to NGKs... Ron

I opted for the full 08 rebuild kits also! Couldn't be happier

Not sure what you mean. I plan on installing the sc's when i get them back, run it for a few minutes, then change the plugs and oil. Should I change the oil cold, prior to installing the newly rebuild sc's?

also, the ngk plugs - are they the dcpr8e / 4339? If so i know they're available at my local auto parts store. Are they ok to use with both the stage 1 and stock ski?

Did you actually notice any difference between the previous clutch and the 08 clutch??
