Campagna T-Rex - Overpriced or not?

Everytime i go on their site I fall in love with them, I think they are extremely cool. I had an itch to get a BRP Spyder for a little while, but you get such mixed reviews from people about it being a chicks bike, or middle-aged guys toy or something of the like. Always chickened out from buying one so I didn't fill a stereo-type or get picked on from the guys with real bikes

But the T-rex just doesn't have that look about it... it pulls off the look of like a cross-breed exotic supercar or something. Or some race inspired modern street legal shift cart... It's sick looking! At $50 grand base model I just feel they are outrageously priced. I guess that's their objective, low production units upper-class target market or something? I look at the T-Rex and if I had no clue how much they retailed for, I would reasonably guess 25-29k or something... but 50 Gs is up there!

What do u think? very overpriced or not that far off from what you'd expect?

If they were down in the mid to upper 20s, i'd consider picking one up... But for 15k-ish could get a Spyder (which probably performs HALF as good at the T-Rex tho)

I agree wholeheartedly with you. They're way over priced. A marine in the squadron where I work has the BRP and while it looks cool, I don't think the performance is equal to the price. It's only a 950 motor. But it does look good.

The promo videos BRP put out show the thing doesn't lean at all into a turn. I'm sure you can burnout to your hearts content, but it doesn't look like it would handle very well... Ron

Looks neat but on something like that that offers no crash protection I want extreme acceleration and handling so I can get my arse out of harms way

The spyder is like a skidoo but for the road in my eyes, T-rex is over priced you might aswell drive a shifter kart on the road and deal with the fines then drop 50g's or build your self one of these
