    Ride plate shim?

I tried searching but could not find what I was looking for. When everyone is shimming there modified plates, what is the goal. Are you ending up with the ride plate being flush with the pump shoe? I have one of Jim's plates. I know I can call him and ask him the same thing, but he doesnt need to be bothered with small stuff. And I know I can get the answers from you guys. And one last question, is there any benifit to shimming the intake grate? Thanks in advance.

    Ryan

I know the package is nice and works. I just dont know how much I want to go into the ski. I allready have a ten second race car and that is enough of a pain in the ass when its broke. I just want a few bolt ons to seperate me from the stock 1300.

I saw in another post where you mentioned you had a mustang... what kind do you have? I've been a mustang guy for quite some time and have had some nice cars over the years... right now all I have left is my 93 LX Yellow Special Edition Vert because I just sold my heavily modded 03 Cobra a couple weeks ago to buy a new Tahoe.

Sweet, Ive just about every thing known to man. I traded in a 2000 lightning on a 03 cobra. Ive it about a year and a half. I work at RWTD if that helps out any. Its easier to spend money when you work at perfromance shop

cool... I loved my Cobra but needed something more practical for the family/work. My Cobra was DSG and had a 2.4 KB, Stage 3 cams, built solid axle, DFX and everything else under the sun! Made 660rwhp on the JDM dyno... here was my post about it on SVTPerformance... http://svtperformance.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=270013

Yeah if I worked at RWTD it would be tough not to spend money on a car!
