Question RXP Low fuel warning bypass?

I have a 2005 RXP that I get the low fuel alert (beep and cut out) when I have about 3 gallons left. I would like to bypass the whole "BEEEP, STALL......RESTART" safety BS. I always watch my fuel gauge and I tired of this process. I was thinking about lowering my float inside the gas tank but figured I would check with someone here first. Any I ideas? I know you racers out there don't have to worry about this happening otherwise it would cost you the race. I am going to put a Rotax ECU in my ski very soon but I think the low fuel warning follows the ECU. Thank you fo rany input you can give out there.

Your ski beeps and stalls when its low on fuel? Mine just beeps. there are a couple things that will cause it to beep and stall though. Running low on oil, low oil pressure, and high temp come to mind.

Yeah, your issue isn't low fuel. Time for a Bud's checkup?

Oops - my bad - your right it only beeps when low on fuel. This is one of the side effects of not being on my ski for the past 7 months because of our winters. But I do still want the beep off out of preference. Ideas?

You are going to have to defeat the speaker. There is no way to cancel just the beep from the low fuel alarm, keep the fuel guage working, and have the beep for CHK ENG and other alarms. At least for a DIYer... Ron

Just carry a gas can like a 2.5 and put more gas in it.

I put a big sticker over the speaker so that the beeping doesn't make my ears bleed any more.
