Gummy white gunk on bolt near prop. What is it???
I finished my 3rd ride today on my new '08 RXT. While washing the ski, I noticed that a single bolt connected to a turning rod and jet had lots of white gummy, almost rubber like, gunk on it. Any ideas what this might be from? I tried to take a picture of this so I could show what I'm talking about, however, my camera doesn't seem to take very good close-ups. While I was down there, I noticed several bolts were marked with red or blue marks...I'm assuming the dealer did this when setting up the ski and checking to ensure everything was tight.

I have been spraying a whole lot of XPS on everything metal after each salt ride, so I'm not sure if that stuff can turn into a rubbery/gummy form?
