2005 Pump and Dynafly On its way!

Well I ordered the 2005 Pump and Dynafly 14/20 from Islandracing earlier in the week. He told me it should be shipping out today or monday at the lastest.

Now what tools will I need to get this impeller off? And what other special tools will i need?

When we did my friends 04 we took the prop off and the new and old pump to the dealer and they charged him $20 to press the shaft, also you may want to research using a sythetic oil vs. grease (do a search) Use the search feature you will find a lot of "how to's"

    Good luck!

Pressing the shaft? Do you meaing the bearings into the pump housing? If so he already did this for me.

Also, it looks like the whole drive shaft has to come out of the ski? Is this correct? And how do you do that.

Did you buy IR's 500 dollar pump + DF prop package, or does that pump upgrade not come with the prop? What kind of gains could be expected from doin the 05 pump upgrade + the new prop?

That 500 dollar upgrade comes with a 14/20 dynafly prop. Should be here tomorrow I am thinking.
