seadoo rx Questions stock speed? rpms?
i have an 01 rx and am looking at seat covers for it. is the rxp cover the same as the rx seat? what is the best prop for speed to run on it. i had a 15 20 on my xpl but i know the hauls are different. ill have a rejet kit and proks with a head on it. What other things can i do to get more speed out of it. i had it on gps at 60mph, it was turning 6720rpms. it looks like it already has an aftermarket impeller, its real shiny and new looking but havent had the chance to pull it off yet.

My RX is a DI, so I can't chime in on some of the setup issues. But, I can say yes that the seat covers are the same for the RX & the RXP.
Looks like the prop (or something) is costing you about 200 RPM. With a wedge, my DI will run a solid 62 on GPS at 6900 +/-

You should be at 6900+ I guessing the new prop it pitched too tall dropping your rpms.

Jettrim makes some great covers. So does MLine on Ebay.
