    7390 Rpms- what speed?

Have a full Riva Stage 2 kit with the V Force 3 reeds on my 04 GPR, was running about 7000 Rpms. Well, I added a 05 pump, 14/20 Dynafly, Keyway and TJ ported the Jugs. Shop took the boat out today about 4pm, 85 degree heat, now turning 7390. What kind of speeds should I see? Cannot wait til I put the GPS on it in the am! Brett has a call into TJ, may need to change the pitch?

Check your plugs and make sure you are giving that thing enough fuel.

how do you know your getting 7390rpm what shop is it and what are they using to check your RPMs??
if you are @ 7390 you need a bigger prop a.s.a.p

are you premix or pump? if your still using the pump make sure to rich it up some?

Thanks for the info- shop is Jet Trendz located in the Tampa Bay area. Jim (aka J plate) knows him well. 7390 on the tiny tac. My factory pipe 00 Gpr was running mid 7800's. Never had a problem with that motor. However knr, you are right, I need to get a 15/21 or so.
