    2003 RXDI steering too tight...HELP

Hi have a 2003 RXDI which was not used for a few months sitting idle outside in Sunny Florida. When i went to use it today the steering was really stiff. My guess is that I need to lubricate the steering, but the question is where and with what? Any advice is greatly appreciated as I am a newbie.

You need a new steering cable.

If you want to isolate the problem, disconnect the cable at the jet pump, then try turning the bars. If it's still hard, disconnect the cable at the bars - under the hood. If the bars turn easy, it's the cable and it's not much more to remove it from the hull... Ron
