    carb rebuild question

I need to rebuild the carbs off my 98 700.
    (Keihin CDK2)
I do not have a pop off preasure gage. Is this a crucial step when you buy the entire rebuild kit, or will the springs as a rule be correctly sized?

pop off helps verify the condition off the needle and seat .. handy for sure specially if your not replacing them .. I as a rule don't change the springs for the ones in the kit unless I am trying to adjust something

I'm not really a carb guy, so I'll let one of the more knowledgeable folks answer that question

The pop off test will also verify the diapfram is working properly(sealed and does not have any holes)
IF it runs properly, than no ,it is not crusial.
If it does not run properly and you need to make sure everthing is working properly, than you should test it.
