    R12x J-Pipe Exhaust

I am in the process of developing a J-Pipe Straight Exhaust for my R12x. I am hoping to have the pipe fabricated by this weekend. I will post videos and soundclips for everyone to hear if interested.

I am hoping to have it fabricated in the next week or so and then maybe strapping on the wetsuit to take some test rides. I started the engine with the exhaust running out of the manifold and it is pretty loud! I am hoping the pipe will tune that down a bit but still offer an aggressive sound.

In the future I plan on putting a cry02 system where the stock waterbox resided to reduce intake temperatures even further!

I'd like my honda to growl a little more.

Def post pics and video if you are so kind!

I really wish someone would make a pipe or kit of some kind. Performance gains don't matter. I have been out on the water with some modded seadoos and yamahas running around and they sound just plain sick compared to the quiet honda. Be nice if we could make some noise.

Super Jim - It is similar, my pipe will be a direct bolt on with water jacket around the exhaust connected to a high temp silicone hose to direct the gases out the stock outlet.

I have the part on the CNC right now and will TIG weld it together sometime next week. Tests are soon to follow!

I will offer these pipes to anyone interested, I will follow up on the pricing.

Are there any performance gains or is this all for sound?

Performance gains are unknown at this time. This pipe was developed mostly for sound. I am guessing that throttle response will be better though with the improved exhaust flow so acceleration should be quicker. This is just my opinion I don't have any hard data to support this yet.
