    General Octane question...

What number octane is overkill for a stage 2 1300?

milled head, air, no key, reeds, D, FF...

    I have 91-92 locally, a little further is 93-94...

does the higher octane for a mild ski cause less RPM`s?...

You want to use the lowest octane you can without any detonation. The higher the octane if you do not need it will cost you power and $$.

Andy with just the milled head I think you could get away with 91-92 but if you were to add timing I would get the 93. With compression I don't think you are going to lose any rpms from 91-93. Stock compression yes you would lose some rpms

I am not sure. WFO will know. Correct you will not hear the ping on the 2-stroke. You would have to do a plug chop.

My bad guys, I haven`t done a comp test with the milled head yet. I think I was told 145-150psi, but i`ll check it this weekend...
