start stop button problem?
i have an 06 rxt which occasionally wont start. i have figured out that the problem is in the button itself. when i take the cover off and just push on the nipple itself it starts fine everytime. when i put the cover back on it will take like 3 or 4 pushes to get it to turn over.the actual start stop rubbery red button isnt transmitting the force to the nipple smoothly.any one ever had this problem? any ideas? i would hate to have to take that cover off everytime i want to start it. thanks, tom.

I've never heard of that problem, but since you narrowed it down, maybe you can search for a used start/stop button, as I don't think you can just get the red part, but I'm not 100% sure.
