    Impeller question?

Hi, ı have an RXP (NON SC VERSİON) and ı want to gain some speed easily. ı mean my top speed is about 59 mph and ı want to gain some more, is it possible to gain some speed with some easy modifications? like a new impeller, new nozzle and a pump wedge? or removing opas.
ı always ride my jetski on flat water. ıf i need to loose some speed on acceleration to have maximum speed, ı agree that.

as far as ı know ı need to pitch the new impeller to get the best results but is there an easy way like (getting it pitched), my ski is 155hp and stock. i live in Turkey and its impossible for me to send the impeller i'll buy back to U.S to repitch.
ı need your ideas please help me

What rpms are you turning at 59 mph? Is 59 mph measured by the speedometer or a GPS?... Ron

At 7800 rpms, you are on the rev limiter for a non-SC engine. You really need to add at least +2 mm to the trailing edge of the impeller to bring your rpms down to 7600 and get your speed up. All you need to do that is an impeller tool and a cresent (adjustable) wrench. Look in the FAQ section to see how to add pitch to your impeller. Then if you add a 4" intake, you will need to add another +1 mm to your impeller because of the increased power... Ron

This comes up about ones every few months, so you might try a search.

Summary, you could do the following...
    - prop
    - wedge
    - grate
    - fill rp holes
    - 3" air intake
    - thru hull exhaust
    - remove flame arrestor
    - etc...

what is ''add at least +2 mm to the trailing edge of the impeller''
and also ı cant decide on intake grate for my non-sc rxp. and ım not good at using wrench and if the work is hard ı ve got to buy a new impeller. ı'm looking for top speed so ı searched and ı think solas 11/19 is good for me? what do you think about it?
