About "That" sticker on the rear of older Yamaha skis

I nearly swallowed my own tounge when I first came across "that" sticker on the back or a fairly recent model Yamaha waverunner.

Having worked for a Japanese camera company for close to 20 years I know that sometimes the rough english is a little rough and needs some clean up. One of my favorites:

"Please don't strangle the baby with the camera strap"...what they really kinda meant to say was:

"Don't put the camera strap around the neck of a young child, it may cause an injury"

For a good part of my career, I was the gadfly of product warning labels at my company, sorry about the "Do not look thru the viewfinder when the camera is pointed at the sun"....So soree...

So here I am cleaning up the ski after a nozzle repair and I see the sticker, which makes a direct in your face reference to very specific private parts. I mean textbook direct.

Anyhow I found what I believ the reason the sticker was so direct...a lawsuit filed for a jet nozzle injury against polairs..pretty big award..until you read how devasting the injury was.

Needless to say, the stickers are much less direct now and simply warn against "bodily orifice" injuries..in plain terms, not a good idea to use a jet pump as a water pick.

Anyhow..for you product liability fiends..here it is:

I love how the owner's manual warns against damage to your vagina from jet wash. Pistonwash has that section highlighted in yellow.

Injection-type injuries are very dangerous, even deadly.

Whether it's a PWC blast to body openings, or compressed air mis-handled while cleaning, etc. I had a friend that spent quite a bit of time in the hospital after 'injecting' himself with paint from a high pressure airless spray gun.

The warning decal is no joke.

i have seen a guy get oil injected under the skin of his palm from a high pressure hose that burst. it was freaking nasty (ballooned up) they pretty much had to peel the skin back and remove it all.

Yeah, the sticker on my GP760 made direct reference to "anus, and vagina" on the side of the cowling. I originally left only that sticker on, but ended up removing it.
