the rpms and boost is good .. sounds as its dragging some how was the riva plate fitted and sealed correctly and is yor pump and impeller in good shape ? any cavitation ?
or if it felt as quick as normal could be your speedo pickup been knocked out of position and thus causing crap reading
best to get gps if possible tho

well ok i will check again the sealing, and will try to find a GPS to verify that speed,

i thought maybe with the full tank i was normal to have a bit of reduced speed,

by the way i catch about 1 once of gaz with my catch can bottom valve and ran pretty hard.

So it is not so bad if stays like this...

glad to see that you got the oil separator bottom line caped and collecting the liquid (gas/oil). One ounce is a fair amount for a single ride. How much fuel did you burn out of the fuel tank? Would you want that caught liquid (gas/oil) going back into the oil pan? It is the best way to control gio.

Well i burn about a 1/4 of the tank , it was a bit cold here in Canada just up to the Champlain Lake for a longer ride and i make shure to not fall in the water !!!!had my suit but ...grrrr

Guess a i'm real one , cause i just saw one fishing boat.

But i was in hurry to try my new 250x i used to have SD change for Kawi this year because i was fed up of rebuilding these 2 strokes, and it was not to reliable.

But now i got GIO so ..but at lease i can controle it, didnt get lucky but didnt know about GIO before i bought this low hours 250x , if so i would go on the Yamaha , had good feedback on there waranty and quality.

Sorry to say this on this kawi forum but , it kind of freaking when we see some horror storie here,

Gas in oil is easily controlled. Also, my speedo says that I go upper 50's. I never use that when I want to know my speed. Always use a gps. The difference between my speedo and my gps is significant.
