GPS numbers not where I want them to be

On my wife 2002 xlt1200 i had 2005 pump with nozzle, Jetworks mod, Riva ride plate mod by Jim, Riva intake grate, Solas Dynafly 14/20, Riva/Boyensen reed stuffers, Pro-tec flame arrestors R&D D-plate and i was running 66.7mph. this past week i installed modded head got my compression up to 150 psi, jetted my carbs for the head, and out of the hole it is incredible but i lost 2.9 mph on top speed. i ran 6950 rpm constantly. any thoughts are welcome

I think your jetting is too rich, come back in stages until you get your revs back to where they were. Do plug readings on the way through. REXA.

question should be why did you rejet for a head mod? You just need to run 93 octane.
