Compression, octane, squish, and timming...
I see and hear so many different things reguarding these topics... I know of people runnin 87 octane 160 pounds of compression with 7* key ways.. I know that timming and compression dont generally play nice in the sand box together.. Im just looking for opinions on what the prime set up would be... Maybe even some of you guys to share what your set up's are as far as the above is concearned... Any info is greatly appreciated...

I am running a 4 degree keyway and 150psi and running 93 octane on a 03 gp1300r.
I just started this setup and have a lot of testing to do, but from all the research and discussions that I have had with top tuners, this is the way to go.

87 octane 160 pounds of compression with 7* key ways...
That sounds like a time bomb to me.
I would love to see this data, too. Around me, the only fuel I can get on the water is 87 or 89 octane.
I would totally up compression, but I am afraid to do it without running a higher octane fuel.
