damaged prop nose = loss performance?

    Hi guys

I noticed that my lost some RPM ( about 200-250 rpm ) plus loss performance...I noticed that the rubber prop nose is damaged...Can that be the reason?

Yes, it can cause a drop in RPM/performance. Search "nose cone removal" or something similar and see what the consensus is. --J

If you can stretch the factory rubber nose cone over the front of the prop, it will improve performance.

Is the drop in RPM in the same air/water temp conditions? Its starting to get hot now and this could also contribute to the loss.
