    Beat a dead horse!

    Ok guys. with the help of Mr. Bill' GPS and Tiny Tach, i was reading 7090 RPMs @ 55.5 mph yesterday on 4-6 in chop.

    2001 GP1200R
    R&D Rec. Head
    VF Reeds, Protec Stuffer
    D-Plate and sensor
    Jet Works (Cosca version)
    Riva Plate
    Riva Free Flow
    Riva 1200 Intake Grate
    Solas 13/19 prop
    Stock Carbs rejetted to:
    Pilots - 110
    Mains - 120
    Needles and Seats - 1.5
    Springs - 95 g.
    T-handles installed.

    For some reason the back of my pump shoe keeps dropping down almost 1 1/2 inches. Ive even used Loctite on the bolts. im going to shim my plate too. and we will see what happens.

    You better rip into that hull fast and see if your entire pump shoe area is about to come apart. Something does not sound right.

    Tim,
    Those are some good rpms you are turning now. I agree with
    everyone, you have some serious issues with your hull. You should be
    going much faster than that based on your rpm. Sounds like your
    pump shoe is about to rip out. Remember you told me you had some water coming in your boat about a week ago. It sounds like it was coming in from the pump shoe. Don't ride it again until you take that apart.

    Yeah im tearing it all apart tonight, If it isnt one things its another!
