Check the engine mounts. They break and the engine can jump forward and sink the Ski.

The rubber does not come over that washer. everything in the second picture looks normal, except for the rust on the drive shaft . If that's where the water leak is coming from, your carbon seal is done! Time to get a new one CamarO, I'll give you a good tip. get some oil and scotch brite green pad. apply the oil to the driveshaft and scrub that rust away. Don't worry about scratching the chrome finish on the driveshaft, that finish is done . after you clean off that rust, get some grease and wipe it on the driveshaft. I will explain to you later why Now call Jerry up and order the new carbon seal, also order a "C" clip....just in case Now while waiting for the parts, put a rag or towel under the part on picture #2 (under the boot) Now spray some penetrating lubricant inbetween that boot and in front of that washer. Let it soak. Under that washer is the "C" clip. Looking at all the rust you have, it's possible that thing is locked up with rust CamarO, you have a lot of work ahead of you. What I have just posted is stage 1 of the process of removing the driveshaft. The key is to clean the driveshaft of rust, because everything will have to slide off it. In the next week or so, I'll be doing the same thing your doing. Good luck, If you got any question.....We are all here for you That's what this site ia all about
