97 1100 stx relay switch problem

Hi, I just got a 97 1100 stx that was completely submerged underwater from hurricane rita, i just replaced the cdi box,it was used but looked in good shape. The motor will turn over, but i am not getting spark at the plugs, i have 12 volts at the switch,at the solonoid/relay, but not after. Is the relay definetly bad or is there any other suggestions.

    Thanks Ryan

Try placing a screw driver across the the relay terminals with the key on, if the engine turns, you probably have a bad relay. Check all ground wire for corrsion. Clean them up.

Great, hope it runs well for you. I 'm rebuilding a 1100stx now. The e box was all corroded.
