    Drain Plugs: help

I've got the 2007 RXT with these new POS drain plugs
that have the "bailers" built into them with bailer lines
attached to them. they use a f-ing great check ball design
    that sticks!!
It sticks as to where the Vacuum won't pull water thru while riding
AND where they wont drain on the trailer... this sucks.. I like my
    old bailers better!

Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this??????
Maybe I just have 2 "bad" ones. I can buy new, but if
it's just a crap-ass design, i'm not spending any more $$ , time on this.

I do have an electric bilge pump, but due to its location...
I still get that small amount of water that stays in hull- I'd like
    to get it all out.

You might try pouring some 'cleaner' into the bilge, letting a bit dribble through the valve, then capping them and letting them soak. Might free the ball up...

Has something from inside the hull gummed them up?
    Oil, gasoline?

Pull'um and remove the balls...then they work fine. With a bilge pump you should have no problem with water. You just have to remember to screw in the plug before putting in the water.

I hate those bailers too. I took mine out and replaced them with duck bill drains. The up side is that I never have any water in my hull at the end of a ride, the down side is that you CANNOT leave the ski in the water overnight because they will leak water back in but if your like me and trailer your ski, dump it in, ride all day then pull it back out you will have a nice dry hull.

Jerry has them in his store.

Same year ski as yours, same damn problem. Used same solution as Larry. No more issues.

Whats the best way to remove your balls ????? (besides marriage)

The balls look bigger than the drain opening.. I've got em
on my desk here in front of me..
Can the threaded drain plug be taken out w/o breaking the
    safety catch????

    Thanks Guys
