With a 3 blade youll probley lose close to 200 RPM give or take..You will loose some acceleration BUT you will gain approx. 1-2 MPH on the top..BUT you have to have mods to warrant pushing that big of prop..

I would say if you use the 81mm ring it will drop about 100-150 RPM. Thats my experience

In my experience I noticed 20 RPM differences between each ring. Since stock is 83mm if you go to the 81mm ring you should be about 8140 RPM. You may notice a little loss of holeshot but as others said you will gain a little on top. Best is to find the best of both worlds. With my previous mods I found that the 82mm ring worked best.

i went from a 81 to a 82 this weekend and pick back up the 100 rpm i lost due to the riseing temps, i guess every ski can b different my rxp was running 8450 at 81+ with a 81 ring put the 82 in gain rpm but lost mph
