65U 45 degree intake
I can't believe nobody on here is interested in this intake?

interesting to say the least. I don't think it would fit into my hull "raider". What prompted you to hand build a 45 vs the 90 or vertical ones out there? I would think if it were the best thing out there, other companies would also build them.

zactly! it would jack the carbs thru my XL hull or atleast my tall F/A's plus mine does fine with the 90 degree set up and I can access all the adjusters without removing the f/a's thanks to the reed spacer but it is def a cool manifold you have

It was on the engine you see in the pic when I bought it to drop in the 99 GP800 hull. It fit the GP hull just fine with the FA's in the pic, not sure why the person decided to fabricate it but it worked really well, but I eventually switched to a side-draft intake. I think the idea behind the 45 degree was to make the intake path more direct than the 90 degree but to keep the FA's up so that water can't get in as easily as a side-draft. It's really easy to get to the adjusters on the 45 degree too, but man when I switched to the side-draft its tought to get to the adjusters and do even try to take the FA's off it's a pain...
Anyways if you want it shhoot me an offer via PM, I was originally asking $40 but would part with it for less.
