    Trailer Conversion

I bought this trailer over the weekend. $250. Rollers coming out, angled steel coming out, straight steel going back in w/ bunks. Frame painted black, tread plate fenders, new winches, deck up front for tool box, poss gas cans. LED lights. Nicer wheels down the road.

It looks like you'll be busy for a while. I have never seen axles like those, kinda strange. Do you think that manuvering a double axle trailer will be much more difficult than a single? Good luck with the project.

No, I've pulled both. I will be happier with a longer trailer that I'll be able to see behind my F-150. I hate backing up my Raider, short trailer, and I can't see it behind me at all, esp when I hit the ramp.

Jet ski Trailer project is well underway. Got the old trailer stripped, chopped. Tomorrow comes welding, hopefully primer. Left my camera at home, will get some in progress pics tomorrow. Everything not related to the axle in the back is now gone. Old coupler is gone, bow stop removed, fenders gone. Looking for nice tread plate fenders. Took off about 24" off the back.

That's going to be very nice when done and you might spend 1200 doing everything on your list.

Here is another in progress pic of the trailer.
Need to put new bearing on this evening, and I'm ready to roll.
Mostly black primer, small section has the Tractor paint on it. I'm only going for functional at this point...

This is where I am right now. It's barely functional. I'll do more as I get time, it's time to ride...
