    pump removal does not buge

    changing over from stock to a skat trak 13/19 ,trim connection is off steering is off spout off bilge line off,all four 14mm bolts the long ones that go from front to the back are off.i think the factory rtv silicone gasket sealant(black) is the only thing holding it in , whats the best way to loosen ,heat? help guys!

    I did not read it, but make sure you get the small bolt off, 10 mm I think on the left lower side of the housing. Past that, alot of people ( including myself) have deal with the stuck pump shaft in the intermediate problem.

    small bolt

    thats the back ofthe pump called the housing which attaches to the transom ,yes, that has 5 bolts one smaller , i understood that you don, have to go that far back to pull it out i thought just the 4 outer (14mm) and thats it

    there's a place on each side that you can put a big screwdriver or a prybar into. lower left side and top right or vece versa. put it in there and manuver it a lil and it should pop out.

    don't put the prybar into the actual pump at all, just in those 2 places to loosen it

    Constant pressure works good too... I used a come along with a cable looped thru the stator veins with the ski on the trailer and the other end of the come along wrapped around a tree... When all else fails break out the plasma cutter

    PRY OUT

    thats right jersey boy! planning on doing that first thing tomorrow with one of my 8-10-12mm work wood chisels, but i got to be careful , i stuck a plain screwdriver in" ear tabs" but to no avail, a little blow torch and chisel should free her you had same problem?

    i mean its only rtv silicone sealant holding it right?it,s got only 8 hrs on it salt should,nt be a problem, inkaddict, i,ve that on youtube somewhere,SICK!

    Yes its just sealant. It should come off real easily if you just use what Fenn said. A little bit of heat and 2 flat head screw drivers and that should pop right off
