Which Ring for my RXP?
I am currently running the 81 ring on my nozzell and turning the 15/20 impeller 7,950 RPM's in 75 degrees temp and a water temp of 70 degrees. I have the stock nozzell which is an 83. If I go back to the stock nozzell will I gain RPM's and loose speed or will I pick up a little more top end?

I would put the stock nozzel on and tune to it. 81 may be faster if top speed is all your after.
83 will get there quicker and at your current rpms will be faster.
I went from an 80.5 to an 83 nozzell and picked up 60 rpms if that helps.

The stock nozzell is an 83 I don't know why I said 82. I want to get my RPM's up to 8100 with the 15/20 impeller. I think I will try the 82 or the 82.5 ring to get the RPM's up to 8100. Lot easier to replace the rings than repitch the impeller. I will have it done if that is what it takes. I know conditions will be getting worse as the summer draws nearer. I have seen water temps 90 degrees in July!
