Just a note...they were made only in 96 and 97. Do a search on the forum as others have done mods to a hurricane.

    Welcome to the Hulk!

This is the best place on the web for Polaris PWC info and support.

Click here for Service manuals, and other useful info.

You can check the model year from the last two digits of the HIN number plate on the rear deck.

There have been a number of Hurricane threads in the past that have described changes the owners have made. You can use the Search function to hunt for them.

I recall that extending the Hurricane ride plate was popular, although many of them seemed to be hand altered and welded.

R-POT made one for my Hurricane years ago, You need to extend the pump with a pump extention and extend the steering cable, the ski will not bounce after these mods. I put a octane motor in it also, big difference in power.

How far did you extend the pump and what model did you get the parts from.

    Thanks Tim

Tim, you use the extended pump sleeve off any polaris with the extended pump and use the longer water tube plus the 4 long pump bolts, then make a extention for the steering cable. I'm always over at PWCtoday .com also.

Sweet I will have to look into that, my hurricane is at the machine shop having a fuel tank made for it. I put a 1200 in it, so the tank needed some work.

I am going to take it out and ride it and see what I need to do.

    Thanks
    Tim
