    Refueling a 15F

Just picked up my 08 15F and took it out for a first ride this weekend. It was amazing.

When i went to fill it up with gas prior to the ride I noticed it was a bit tricky. It would fizzle up from time to time, as if it needed more time to go down.

Is there a trick to angle of the nozzle or something to avoid this or am I just retarded and doing something wrong?

    Thanks.

The gas inlet on the Kawi is smaller than most, if I remember correctly.

There is nothing you are doing wrong it will do it every time. If you want to get an extra gallon or so in there you have to tip the nose way up. The tank is very flat with dips and spaces for expansion. I don't suggest storing the ski with a full tank if you don't leave room. I only put the extra in when I am going to be riding a long distance without fill up.

I take and listen for when it is almost full and slow down. One thing is you can't fill it up full blast you have to go about half way to be safe. Just take a look inside and you will see all of the air inside the tank when full. That is where the bubbles are coming from when it is full, then you add more. I have had it run out many times in the almost five years of riding with these. You should fill up my wife's HO with the inlet pointing sideways right at you. If you get a bad pump that doesn't shut off quickly it can get messy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a double-90deg bend in that hose, AND the filler neck is very small. You might check out a larger filler neck from another model, and see what that does.
