depends do you want to send your prop out every other year to have the trailing edge reworked? Id go OEM you get 2 uses out of it, just flip it 180

I would personally never run the stock plastic wear ring. Your performance will continue to deteriorate as the wear ring wears.
All other manufacturers use SS wear rings with no issues. Seadoo should start following their lead.

That depends on a lot of things. Modification level, trash in the water, etc.
I used to notice reduced performance within 4-6 hours when using the plastic wear ring. That's back in the day when a 74 mph RXP was fast

If you're gonna run the stainless steel wear ring then you should consider installing a solid front motor mount and checking the engine and drive shaft alignment. A drive shaft that is a little crooked will cause the prop to rub on the wear ring, slowing the ski down and accelerating wear on the prop.

I have stainless wear rings in both my pumps. I'd rather have the prop examined / trued up every year myself.
