    Cleaning Fuel Pump???

How do you clean the fuel-pump screen on a 2008 15f? How are you supposed to get it out of the gas tank? I did a search and got nothing.

    Thanks for the help!

You have to pull the engine. Why do you think it needs cleaning?

A dealer told me that the screen on the fuel pump needs to be cleaned every 100 hrs. He said debris collects on it and reduces fuel pressure which can cause a lean condition and crack pistons. I figured it out though. Just take out the glove box and you can get to it easily. Glove box comes out easy, only a few black screws.
