    2005 RXT Metal Washers-Where to buy? Best price?

    Hey I'm just getting ready for the summer and was going to switch out my washers on my RXT just to be safe. I don't want to have my supercharger die at the beginning of summer and have to buy the whole supercharger repair kit, which is around $1400. I rather just pay a couple hundred to switch out my washers now then pay that amount. I've been looking around, but I rather get some opinions on where I should buy from or who has the lowest prices? I would greatly appreciate any recommendations where I could order these washers from.

    Thanks, Charlie

    Hi Charlie, welcome to the forum. You can buy the washers from this sites online store. Using the greenhulk coupon code will save you 10%

    Not sure where you got a quote for $1400 for a supercharger rebuild kit. I sell the OEM seadoo rebuild kit for $298.

    You can also pull the SC and send it to Jerry, he can put them in for you

    I just did one yesterday, in all fairness to a dealer the job could cost a grand CND:

    $450 CND for 08 SC kit (Jerry's are 50 bucks cheaper- plus shipping is an additional factor)
    $ 30 for isoflex grease (some guys say don't use it but considering the cost of 30 bucks you may sleep better-I did)
    $ 30 for fresh oil why-bath new SC bearings in dirty oil)
    $ 20 for oil filter
    $ 10 for destroyed 2 hose clamps
    $ 15 for red and blue loctite (if you are a DIUSer)
    $ 5 for acetone (shit needs to be very, very clean)
    $ 20 for hylamar gasket goop.( sealer for SC casing)
    $ XX grease, lintfree rags, scotch brite, tools etc
    Tax up here is 15%

    To do a good job with TLC it takes 3-5 hours including SC removal, cleaning, corrosion treatment, inspection, kit install with testing and finally SC reinstall including a test ride. (who wants a surprise the first day out)Shop rate is like 70 bucks/hour. So you are approaching a grand with taxes in my area. And that is why you should never go to the dealer. Labor time will vary depending on mechanical conditions, how methodical one is and maintenance standards.

    If it were me and I hadn't the skills nor enjoyed wrenching I'd recommend sending the SC out for OH to someone recommended from this forum (Do the removal and install myself-an inexperienced individual can do that much!)
