lose Cat on a XL1200
I just got done putting a top end on a '01 xl1200 and noticed the cat honey comb was loose in the pipe. Can I remove the honey comb and run it with out it in place?
are there any concequences?

You need to get a D-Plate
You cannot simply remove the CatCon since your engine needs the backpressure. You need to either get another CatCon or install a D-Plate. The most effective choice is to install a D-Plate. However, I have a good CatCon for a GP1200R if you are interested, but I would really replace it with a D-Plate.
