Does anybody know any high performance seadoo mechanics/shops? Or just a regular PWC shop that does GREAT work? I need some work done to my RXP and I don't trust the dealership near my house.
Any advice would be great!! Just need a motor dropped in, but need it done right!

Here in Holland we have a shop, Drummond Marine. They do really good work, I would trust them with anything. I don't know where Oakland is, or how far of a drive it is, but its the only place I know near me.

Not sure if you have contacted them yet, lakeside marine repair. He used to be an ex-racer and knows what he is doing. I have seen 4-tec motors sitting around his shop so I know he knows how to take them out and put them back in. The only guy I trust working on my machines, I drive 45 min to go to him. Pretty fair on price too. And if your speaking about Andersons/MotorCity I wouldnt trust them either.

Just got off of the phone with Evan. Sounds like a stand up guy. He gave me a great price on engine removal/install.
I will post my experience shortly after!!!
Already a FAR better experience than motorcitypower JOKES!

Funny about Motorcity. I have bought stuff from them with no big issues, other than they seem a little high. When it comes to their service though, I wouldn't trust them. I remember going up there two years ago to have some rock damage to a pump fixed. After the guy came out and I talked to him for a few minutes, he got confused what I was talking about. He then told me I knew a lot about skis. I don't know very much now, and knew much less then, but I knew what I was talking about with the pump (thanks to reading here). Finally, I told him I would take my pump off and if he could swap the wear ring and put in my new impeller I already had I could take care of the rest. He told me he wasn't sure if they were allowed to work on stuff like that. Like what? A pump? Finally, I got the sales guy that helped me and he had someone else do it for me, but charged me 30 bucks.
Anyway, I will be anxious to hear how his work turns out. I would like to have someone to trust in case there is something I can't do or get stuck halfway through.
