Riva Pro-Series Waterbox Install
Well I just finished the pain-in-the-but install of my Riva waterbox. It sounds great, looks great, but man is it a b***h to get in. Also, RXT/GTX owners beware...the waterbox doesn't come with a coupler long enough to fit on the outlet...you have to buy a longer coupler that Riva doesn't carry. Overall, I think it was worth it though.

Riva does not sell a correct length coupler to go with their waterbox for the GTX/RXT ? Amazing. I read over several times the information explaining what they are selling and nowhere does it state you need to go elsewhere on your own to find a correct length coupler. Kind of Micky Mouse. And if they are going to make one available somewhere down the line --why did they market the water box first without it. Why not come out with the complete package to start with?

Mine fit, but was close. I tried to use a section of the old exhaust coupler cut to about 6", but there was no way I could get it over the the lip on the exhaust outlet, just a tad too small diameter.

when I did the GH box I had to cut about an inch and a half piece of aluminum tubing that I used as a spacer almost. Put a coupler on each side of the spacer attached one side to the outlet and one to the waterbox. man was that a pain, good news is I have no leaks with it.

I am in the process of installing mine on my RXT-X amoung other items so I hope this is not the case but it would not surprise me that Riva assumes one size fits all. I will let you know what I find

Good luck. Spoke to Riva this morning and they said that they are aware that it doesn't fit and that they are trying to make a kit for it

just to save me some time what size did you get and where did you get it

I went and bought a foot of 2.75" silicone coupler from a local tuner shop. Cost me $30. Had to cut some off, you really only need about 6 or 7 inches of it.

and Riva cant figure this out just put a longer piece in the kit that I just payed for how hard can that be

No kidding. Kinda what I said. For that much $$$$$ you would think they could include the proper size fitting coupler. I spent half the cost of that waterbox just driving around town today trying to find a coupler for it
