exhaust pipe gasket ?
Hi, I have 94 seadoo spx It was leaking water out of the exhaust gasket where the pipe meets the manifold. The gasket is ripped can a I just use rtv gasket maker or do I have to buy a gasket from seadoo? Would rtv handle the exhaust temp.? What should the torque be on the bolts?

you need to get a new gasket. the pipe is not designed to meet the manifold without it, it will throw the position of the pipe supports off. i believe that he manuals are available online (through this site) and they will specify the proper torque.

The cheapest SeaDoos are the ones that are blown up.
A cheap fix equals a cheap SeaDoo.

It's a common promlem. Get a new gasket and the service manual. Clean up the mating surfaces and follow the torque sequence to fix it right. There is a web sight if you google it that tells you how to fix it. I forget the exact sight but can find it for you if you can't.
