YOU NEED TO REPITCH YOUR IMPELLER, YOU ARE ON THE LIMITER. pitch 1-1.5 mm on the traileng edge then go test. you may need to pitch again

Well you should have 42's, or you're probably lean. But yeah, you are on the limiter and repitching will give up your top end.

    nope.

add a mm at a time to the prop.

Do a better air intake......it'll be amazing to you how restrictive the oem set up is.

    I turned a 68.6 @ 7800 today...and I don't have half the sht on my ski that he does.

What am I missing here? Because he's on the limiter, he's not utilizing the full potential of his xs...so repitching will lower his rpm's. You have to tune your prop according to your mods or you won't be optimized...

why are you only turning 7800

    My prop is too steep.

He's on the limiter....his timing's being...altered(i think)....if he steepens his prop it'll drop his r's...as well as increasing his top end.

Isn't that exactly what I said? What do you mean his timing? That is irrelevant to the fact that he's under pitched.

Noooo, he's right (but you are also)...
As you approach the limiter, the ECU retards the timing...
Bend some into that prop, I ran a 14/19 up to 74mph when I had my RXT...
