    Intercooler Install

    Took stcok intercooler out and clean it...boy was it dirty
    Now trying to get it in and wont go pass the rubber piece and o rings..
    How do i get it in there? Tried using and rubber mallet but that didnt work because really no where to hit it
    What do I do?

    Did the seal come out with the IC on the very end... sometimes they fall off in the manifold

    You could just leave it out and install an external IC

    Just make sure you don't leave that seal in there... ask "beerdart" what happends

    No just cleaning the stocker for now....Seal is still on the ic...thats the problem, how do i get it back in? It wont go pass the seal back in its home.
    Like i said how do i get it back it because there is no leverage it push it in.
    Need some good force on it or something
    How is everyone else getting it back in? besides ditching the stocker for an external..

    It should go back in with little force at all!!!! try spaying Carb and Choke Cleaner on the rubber oring and rubber end cap.

    i used wd-40 all over it and tried two ppl pushing on it and it still wouldnt go...ive tried everything that i can think of and im lost???

    My guess is that most people have never pulled it and ended up putting it back in

    Grease up those rubber seals on both ends with some white lithium grease.

    anything else..i dont have any of that at this time...maybe its telling me i need to buy an external..but i dont wanna right now just wanna ride with the stocker for now till i get more money
