Question How do you remove electrical connectors

I 'm looking to remove some wires that I need to pull through the ignition box and replace with new replacement 4 lead wire with a four way connector. Is there a specific tool to get the 4 wires out of the female plastic connector?

probably in your desk drawer. a paper clip works fine. there should be a little plastic barb that you need to lift up to get the wires out of the connector

    Hello,
The electrical connection cover plate can be removed easily with a nut driver to gain access to the electrical connections. To remove the electrical connection cover plate on an electric dryer, simply slide the slotted side of the plate from the slot provided on the dryer after removing the retaining screw using a nut driver.

And there you have it! Next time you're working on your clothes dryer, remember, you heard it here!

A paper clip or a 90 degree pick you can get at any autoparts store. You will know when you get the tab , the wire will come right out with little or no force needed.Push in slightly on the wire to relieve the pressure on the tab

There are proper tools available to remove pins from plugs. They are like hollow thin walled tubed device with a split that slide over the pin and compress the lock. They are avaible in different sizes and configurations.
