    Mikuni Questions

Howdy all. I have been reading and lurking for some time now, and have found this site to be a wealth of information. I thank you all for that. I have a ’94 (built in ’93) Polaris 750 SL with a R&D ride plate and intake grate, and my other ski is a bone stock ’94 750 SL I recently acquired with a hole in the mag piston (fuel related).
    I have a couple questions:
    1. I am changing the fuel pumps in both and wanted to know if the 2 port Mikuni DF62-702 that puts out 65 liters per hour was a better alternative to the 3 port Mikuni DF52-92 that puts out 35 liters per hour? Volume vs. Individual feeding of the carbs?
    2. Butterflies were out of sync and the diaphragm was shot on the carb responsible for the hole in the piston, and I know I have seen a post on here that listed a good rebuild kit, but for the life of me can’t re-find it?!? Do you have any recommendations and or good prices from past experience for the SBN kit?

    Welcome to the Hulk 2Strokin!
I personally would go with the 3 port pump. You can get that and your carb parts from john zigler. He comes highly recommended around here.
    Email him here.

Yes, the DF62 puts out more fuel, but you don't need it. Its more expensive, and may require a change in the return jet size, due to the increase in fuel flow. I'd stick with the one everyone else uses, just to simplify the install.

Welcome to the Hulk 2 strokin.

Here's the kit you asked for. It's got everything you need for 1 ski.

And the higher volume fuel pump won't be needed unless you have a high performance 750. 35 L per hour is more than enough.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help and recommendations. It really is awesome to have a resource like this that will carry both of my skiis for years to come.

    Welcome!

Did you know about the Service Manuals available here?

If you follow the links from that page, you will also find Mikuni rebuild guides.

If you have the ability to hang around GreenHulk.net, and help others on here from time to time, that would be great

I have downloaded the appropriate manuals for my applications, and will be more than happy to stick around to help others. I am in the Houston area, so I can probably be of service to that market with wrenching time, and others with technical information as I run across it.
